 ABOUT SV2G

Caribbean culture by its very nature is very expressive, tropical and some say even carnival-like.  There is a great emphasis on food, music, colours and festivals.

SV2G provides an awareness of the Caribbean heritage and culture within the community of Buckinghamshire.

Wherever possible SV2G highlights the need for more Caribbean heritage within our society to enable everyone to gain greater and wider knowledge of the Caribbean culture, and therefore creating a more cohesive community.

We are a not-for-profit voluntary organisation whose goals are to:

  • provide an awareness of Caribbean heritage in the community in and around High Wycombe, irrespective of race, religion, politics and any other beliefs
  • support young people and the elderly, by providing education and information on their heritage
  • to manage and assist outside agencies with managing meetings, exhibitions, lectures, seminars and training courses
  • to collect and disseminate all information and share it with other similar bodies, with similar objectives at both national and international level

Run by an elected Executive Committee, we are funded through member contributions, grants and donations.  If you would like to make a donation to our organisation or would like to co-sponsor or advertise at an SV2G event, please contact us
